The first IQE collaboration meeting, held in Berkeley on January 11th, 2016, brought together more than 50 researchers in quantum emulation from throughout the UC system and beyond.  Highlights included research presentations by IQE faculty, postdocs, and graduate students, a lively poster session, and the IQE Symposium on "New Directions in Quantum Emulation," featuring a keynote address by Nobel laureate Wolfgang Ketterle of MIT.
